Welcome to North Lawrence Antiques In North Lawrence, Ohio. Offered here is truly a one of a kind 21-1/4 tall sewer tile folk art sculpture dating to the late 1800s or early 1900s.
Likely made in the Uhrichsville, Ohio area as this was the major source of sewer tile production and is very near to the estate that this came from. It appears to be a sewer tile pipe that was used as a "canvas" for someones artistic work. As you can see it is fully decorated with short, raised vertical lines around a central round top window or door with many panes. Below that is the large raised letters "Clint" surrounded by what looks like carved screw heads. Measurements are 21-1/4" tall, 8-5/8" wide, 8-5/8 deep.
The top is 8" in diameter with a 6" diameter opening. The bottom has a 7" by 7" square opening. This could be used as a planter, vase, umbrella stand, or???
